While there are plenty of party options to choose from (couples’ art, wine glass paintings, free drink night), we just happened in on a “typical” evening, which we got to choose based off the painting on the website. The artists were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Many paintings done by the staff and others just like ours hang from the walls.

The interior has a laid-back atmosphere with warm lighting and exposed brick.
PAINT NITE MUSE BAR FULL
It’s a great spot for a full night of fun! Brandon and I showed up a little early to watch them set up (and get started on our glasses of wine – which, by the way, they have a fabulous selection of) and get a little tour around their space.

Muse is placed in the same shopping center as my favorite donut store and comic shop, as well as several wonderful restaurants and a hot yoga barre. Muse Paintbar has several locations up and down the East Coast, and I was so excited when they chose a spot in RVA to call home. However, Muse was kind enough to not only let her come back at a later date once she’s recovered, but after noticing my blogger status, asked if I would bring a date and review my experience, myself! I was thrilled to take Brandon out for an evening of getting messy and having so much fun! While we were both excited about the idea of a fun night filled with painting and wine, she’s still in the long process of recovering from her extensive back surgery. Just a few weeks ago, my mom won a night at Muse Paintbar from my fellow RVA blogger, Megan, of Sweet Sauce Blog.
